| Moretonhampstead’s
Music Day, a day for the whole family,
with loads of various performances throughout the day and into the
night, providing a unique opportunity for local up and coming talent as
well as acclaimed musicians and performers. Music Day began back in 1992 as a small event at the Plymouth Inn on a Sunday afternoon. In those days it consisted of one or two groups playing for a couple of hours in the pub garden after lunch. It has since established itself as an annual event, becoming bigger and better every year, blossoming into a major musical summer celebration with as many as sixty performances on a single day, featuring local, national and occasionally international artists. |

After 17 years, this
years music day, being held at the White Hart
Hotel and the White
Horse,
promises to be one of the best, with a
plethora of talented groups and individuals such as the wonderful Avis
family, John Fuller,
the
Chris Back Trio, Kenny J (from the New
Drifters USA) and many more.
